From kde-core-devel Fri Jun 06 16:24:18 2003 From: George Staikos Date: Fri, 06 Jun 2003 16:24:18 +0000 To: kde-core-devel Subject: Someone broke bugs.kde.org? X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-core-devel&m=105491681317818 After at least two weeks of this I start to grow tired. What changed here? Given that I haven't updated kmail in forever and this is 3.1 branch I'm inclined to guess that this isn't KMail's fault. Based on the full headers of the few messages that come through without the whole header in the body, I think it has to do with the Subject: line being completely broken in email sent by bugs.kde.org. Anyone know what's going on here? What changed? Note that Reply-to is in the body now so I keep sending responses to these bugs directly to the reporter and it's getting really annoying. ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: [Bug 59431] cannot copy files with non-ASCII letters via FISH:// Date: Friday 06 June 2003 08:44 From: Thiago Macieira To: konq-bugs@kde.org X-Bugzilla-URL: http://bugs.kde.org/ X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-BeenThere: konq-bugs@mail.kde.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list Reply-To: 59431@bugs.kde.org List-Id: Konqueror, kio, khtml and kjs bugs List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: konq-bugs-bounces-+staikos=kde.org@mail.kde.org Errors-To: konq-bugs-bounces-+staikos=kde.org@mail.kde.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-12.7 required=4.0 tests=AWL,BAYES_00,BUGZILLA_BUG autolearn=ham version=2.53 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.53 (1.174.2.15-2003-03-30-exp) Status: ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59431 thiagom@mail.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Component|general |fish everconfirmed|0 |1 Product|konqueror |kio Summary|cannot copy files with |cannot copy files with non- |Umlauts via FISH:// |ASCII letters via FISH:// ------- Additional Comments From thiagom@mail.com 2003-06-06 14:44 ------- Confirmed. One accented letter gets turned into four characters. It seems that this is being encoded into UTF-8, then decoded from Latin1, and then again. This happens only when copying/moving. Renaming and deleting are not affected. _______________________________________________ Konq-bugs mailing list Konq-bugs@mail.kde.org http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/konq-bugs ------------------------------------------------------- -- George Staikos KDE Developer http://www.kde.org/ Staikos Computing Services Inc. http://www.staikos.net/
