There are a number of KAction issues that have shown up in the last 9 months
or so, especially related to KParts and other embedded objects... In
December I wrote a patch to alleviate many of these problems by removing all
duplicate information when actions and shortcuts are shared between objects
or created based off of a "template" collection. As far as I tested it, it
worked, but due to the extent which action and accel bugs create general
annoyance in the developer community *grin*, I didn't want to commit until it
was more thoroughly tested it. However, I didn't have the time to keep up
with patches to HEAD causing conflicts...

I'm thinking it'd probably be easier if I created a temporary branch so that a
couple other willing developers could also see if it works for them for a
while.

The policy on branches is just to use lower-case names, right?

Cheers,
Ellis
