Just as an idea: would it be useful to specify in cases like this not only 
"Type=string", but "mailaddress" or "hostname", so that proper validators 
can be used in a generic config manipulation application ? (for example, 
so that it doesn't allow users to change the Email value to 
"some@thing@not@valid" )
