Hi there,

I've got a question to a general idea that I got this morning. Would it be
(technically) possible to connect another machine's display to set up a
virtual xinerama ? I mean, a simple thing that comes to my mind is a modified
vnc where the usage on both machines is independent from each other. I know
that I can use xdmcp to log in a second time but this won't give me the same
applications. With vnc only I only can handle both displays (monitors)
simultanously, but not independent from each other. Being able to use e.g.
one virtual desktop on one machine and another virtual desktop on a second
machine (and so forth) would help already.

Any ideas ?

Ralf
