Hi,
I just got a mail from an user of my KIO Slave for accessing Nuvomedia's
Rocket eBook (protocol reb://).
He said the protocol -that was OK in the KDE 2 serie- is triggering Cervisia
in KDE 3.0.3 and that he had to disable it to access the slave.

I've never heard about a reb.protocol for Cervisia, but nevermind, that's just
for the example.

My real question is : wouldn't it be a good thing to have a central place were
authors of kio-slaves, wether they are third-party or part of KDE, could
"register" a namespace for their slaves ?

Then, people wanting to write a new slave could know what is taken, and avoid
to step on one's shoes.

Germain
