Speaking of a broken qt-copy: When I compile kdelibs or kdebase and when I start KMail I get this: ASSERT: "qt_global_mutexpool == 0" in kernel/qthread_unix.cpp (207) Apart from the fact that these messages make me a little bit nervous this bug is also responsible for an occasional crash when KMail is exited. It would be nice if you could update qt-copy to a newer snapshot.
