I second that; I would really like the new MB/GB/TB stuff to be in the new 
KDE.

If someone thinks this makes it impossible to communicate to someone else 
about filesizes; please think again;
- - Filesizes reported in various applications are currently printed sometimes 
in Kb and other times in Mb etc. People ignore them now since they don't make 
sense. I doubt you can tell many people that 208111bytes  is indeed 199Kb...
- - adding a couple of filesizes is almost impossible since nobody knows how to 
do it correctly. (206000 bytes + 1Mb file; will they fit on one disk?)


Please take away the headace and make KDE really stand for ease of computing. 
Its not about breaking old standard; its about fixing them so you can 
actually start using them.
