And how many prefer using 'kilo == 1024' over that? Why do you think a kilometer is 1000 meters? Much easier calculating, for one, and consistent with liters, grammes, and all other SI-units. Ok, agreed, you're an American and there people are still doing the math for miles, feet and what more, but most of the world prefers decimal ;-) -- Martijn
