I've been planning to be switching my Jabber client to libpsi next month, 
before Justin's question even came up.*  So regardless of the answer given 
here, I'll be making absolutely sure libpsi does everything for me the KDE 
way, including use of KSocket and friends.

KDE 3.2 gives Justin (and I, if necessary) a lot of time to make the 
switch, too, but I wouldn't expect Just in to make a commitment without a 
reciprocal commitment from KDE.

* I made a promise to make a KDE port of KVirc if I didn't get Kit 2.0 
released by Jan 1 2003.  After ditching Jabberoo in late 2000, and seeing 
libkjabber stall this year, Psi is my last best hope.  And I have to get 
it done, too, since in the months since I made the promise, I switched 
from KVirc to KSirc, so I really have no desire to make a KDE KVirc. :-)
