Kopete will let you communcate with other protocols= =20 open and closed. The reason why this is more favorable is that we can expa= nd=20 kopetes system with much more freedom. Add to that the fact that Kopete is= =20 being designed with the idea of being a gateway for messageing and it becom= es=20 very attractive. With Kopetes dcop interface exposeing the messageing=20 internals things like Messageing someone a vcard appointment or rightclick = to=20 send a file to someone genericly becomes quite feasable. While psi might have a good design, the fact that its locked into one proto= col=20 is kind of limiting. Kopete offers tighter integration with other messagei= ng=20 systems. =2D -ian reinhart geiser =2D --=20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D A consultant is a person who borrows your watch, tells you what time it is, pockets the watch, and sends you a bill for it. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9TG4BPy62TRm8dvgRAuU8AKC2r9VJIgTf9ZKuRvk4IQdm1rNptwCfekvy AGTaNpc5tYtSbY6tvdnynEA=3D =3DybTd =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
