Hi Waldo

I'm just getting back from my vacances...
I've tested it.

- Is it really necessary to create a new popup menu? The settings in it are
vital to Kmenuedit. What is kmenuedit "worth" if all the settings are
disabled?
- I don't understnad the difference between "remove" and "hide". I interduced
the hide feature to make the user able to hide itmes he didn't create. Remove
was ment to really delete items. So if you remove it u can't unledete it
after... I think you tried to differ between the "Hidden" and the "No
Display" Tag in the destopfiles. Is it really necessary to the user to know
what the difference is between Hidden and NoDisplay?
- It seemds that your changes the saving here... (on my machine). KMenuedit
didn't write anything to the HDD, however this can be a local issue.

cheers,
Raffaele
