Actually, if you care more for your beliefs than for being accepted, you should not fear going to the USA. I'd rather live my life with the risk of becoming a martyr than being forced to make adjustments to my way of living. I have done many things in my life completely illegal anywhere outside of The Netherlands. But whenever I fill in my I-94W form I can check all the "no" boxes because what I did was legal at the time and place where I did it. If the US government feels it should arrest me and indirectly question my country's sovereignity, let them try.
