A much better solution than a dialog?  Strange.

Although I'm a fan of config through environment too, this doesn't really
apply to kde, which is about gui friendlyness.  If we could create new
strings, it would ask once, and then remember this name of course.  But
because we can't create strings, this is no option, so environment var is
a solution, but certainly not the much better one ;-)
