and for those who can't find packages for their system, visit:

   ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/
   ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/automake/  (don't get 1.6 ..)
   ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/make/  (may as well, right?)

if you can install kde from source, these are a breeze...
