From kde-core-devel Tue Feb 26 15:32:43 2002 From: Dirk Mueller Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2002 15:32:43 +0000 To: kde-core-devel Subject: KDE3 release schedule reminder X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-core-devel&m=101473745725675 Hi, This is a short reminder that according to http://developer.kde.org/development-versions/kde-3.0-release-plan.html we're preparing a release candidate next monday. the release candidate will be mostly for internal testing due to shortness in the schedule (hence there will be no packaging period for them to provide convenience packages). Therefore, I'd like to remind everybody to the rules: - No feature commits. - Concentrate on bugfixing. - use verbose commit logs (i.e. not "fixed a bug" but _which_ bug and maybe a simple way to reproduce it). It might help others tracking changs and understand the reasons for regressions. - if possible no i18n-string changes. - Get _every_ _nontrivial_ commit to code parts you're not 101% sure of reviewed by at least another developer. Thanks for reading, Dirk
