In case you missed the CVS commit:
* Single char options like "-a -b -c" may be combined into "-abc"
* The option "--foo bar" may also be written "--foo=bar"
* The option "-P lp1" may also be written "-P=lp1" or "-Plp1"
* The option "--foo bar" may also be written "-foo bar"
* And if you're into those kind of things: "-a -b -c -P lp1" may be combined 
into "-abcPlp1"

No changes required in any app, you should just define
"P <printer>"
