I've just tested, the behaviour is the same. The CDDB connection will fail and 
the ioslave will just revert to not showing any track names.

The difference is: instead of one warning (KSocket::initSockaddr is 
deprecated...) I got five connection errors. Which means that the ioslave 
tried five different servers before it gave up (all in less than one second).

As for initSockaddr(), it's still there, but I'd like to remove it before KDE 
3.0 goes out. Maybe leave in KDE_NO_COMPAT.
