The only possible cause of the crash upon KPrinter destruction is when
trying
to save some settings (KPrinter::saveSettings):
1) either when trying to access the KPrinterImpl object which may have
been
   destroyed before => KMFactory has been destroyed before => all
KStaticDeleter
   objects have been destroyed. Is this possible upon destruction of
kate document?
2) KGlobal::config() returns NULL

I can't access any Linux box for the moment (damned password-protected
BIOS ?!@#).
Could anybody have a look on these 2 possibilities?
