I think this approach is fundamentally flawed in that it doesn't use KCon= fig=20 for looking up the settings. KDE applications should read their settings = from=20 KConfig, using QSettings instead is a step back that I'm not willing to t= ake. If Qt applications have no means of adjusting to the KDE settings then th= at is=20 a shortcoming of Qt that should be fixed in Qt. Degrading KDE to overcome= =20 that is not the way to go. I would love to discuss a solution together with TrollTech but so far the= y do=20 not seem to be interested in this issue.
