Well usually the "most frequently used" won't actually be so, usually
the most frequently used items will be on the toolbar, with one
alternative - gimp vs pixie, konqi vs kmail being two examples -
accessed frequently in the K-Menu. Therefore I can't see more than
"two" recent use items as being that useful, unless you've got a
brilliant way of representing it :)

I can't imagine all that happening for 3.0 but the menu reorg IMO
opinion really needs to be complete by then, otherwise the upgrade from
3.0 -> 3.1 will change visual overall KDE appearance, which is far
from a good idea for a "minor" release.
