I am helping, by pointing out that defaulting this on is a mistake.

If you count helping only as adding features, then those who want a leaner 
default desktop can never help, by definition.

This isn't even a feature... it's purely ornamental.

I'm not saying the patch shouldn't go in, I'm saying the behavior 
shouldn't be defaulted on.
