Hello friends, I want to tell that many strings in PO's are=20 too technical strings: =46rom kcmbackground.pot: "Checking this box lets KDE to use shared memory for image to pixmap=20 conversions." =20 Beside the fact that joe average user don't know even=20 what shared memory is, he will must cope with the idea=20 that image is transformed in pixmap.=20 There are many places where such strings occur. E.g. "KBlabla::init() died in foobar!". There exist KDebug=20 to report errors, especially fatal ones. I think a number=20 should be assigned. E.g.=20 "KSuperApp Error code: 12345" "Please report it to author!" Will be nice to have even a class i.e. KAppError that=20 a developer can use non-fatal error. It's nice to be like dr.Konqi window and to be able to report to author (hey!, not bugtraking system because many developers can't or don't bother register their app in bugs.kde.org)=20 by using email address from KAboutData object. kind regards, --=20 Claudiu Costin
