Hiya,

this mail is only interesting to you, if you installed kdelibs between 
2001/11/11 04:09:03 and 2001/11/13 13:27:56.

Maybe you have noticed that the KDE Filedialog in HEAD has a nice new bar on 
the left side, with shortcuts to some often used directories. That's the good 
part :)

The bad part is, that the first versions had a little bug, that manifests 
itself in you getting all those speedbar entries duplicated for every new app 
you start for the first time after you installed kdelibs.

The cure is: 
- update kdelibs again (it was fixed in revision 1.267, 2001/11/13 13:27:56 of 
kfiledialog.cpp)
- edit .kde/share/config/kdeglobals and
  o remove the section [KFileDialog Speedbar (Global)]
  o remove the key "Set speedbar defaults=false" in the 
    [KFileDialog Settings] section.

All newly started apps should behave properly now.
