what i mean by money makeing companies is not companies like loki or eazil...
i mean like big ones that will show off the power of KDE... IBM viavoice is a
good example of a real company who makes money targeting KDE, but has
anything every come out of that?

that is a risk we need to evaluate, its the price you pay for greatness...

i mean look how many companies sponsor kernel development, no-one as far as i
know controls the linux kernel as for corperate interests.
as for the companies, let them modify the source their content... it is GPL
(and various other open source licenses) anyway, if we dont like it we should
change the license to closed source... my concern is makeing ourselves more
attractive to the older stuffy software houses. These are the ones who will
be arround for a while. yes i have a low opinion of linux companies and
.coms... i dont see VA or loki showing off anything remarkable lately.
