I think this is a misinterpretation. I have not heard a single voice opposing people getting paid for doing KDE hacking. I have heard some people arguing that KDE eV shouldn't pay people to hack on KDE software. I have still to be convinced that it is a good idea that KDE eV decides whose work is good enough to qualify for KDE money. /Sune
