Yes!

Many other software sources (Apple, Microsoft, ...) are currently moving away from \
privacy, and the Free and Open Source communities are more needed then ever to \
respond to this with alternatives. We are an important player here, and we should use \
our influence to publically state a direction. We will not only ensure focus on this \
internally, but will make outsiders more aware of one of our advantages — that we \
would probably silently have anyways. We will attract privacy-minded people to us, \
and we will increase the chance for cooperation with other communities on this.
