Hmpf, got up again - I just can't sleep knowing this problem isn't fixed...
Reverted as AleXXX wanted and fixed it a better way: clicking on a dir in
the sidebar selects the first item and actually *shows* this. So no
bad surprises anymore.

Waldo, if you're not pissed already, would you move the tag now? :-}
