Currently there are only two filter dialogs:
the CSV one (import/export) and the HTML-export one.
Both are about groupboxes with radiobutton.
I think they are better suited in something on the left or right, otherwise
e.g. the HTML one would take up too much height.
But more below.

Actually, this goes further. The problem with the current situation is that
if one types a filename and presses enter, the options will never show up.
Hmm, this is very much like what we discussed in fact.
If we fix kfiledialog so that when selecting the mimetype, the extension appears,
then it'll be possible to select the options even for a new file - which isn't possible
currently, since it only shows up for existing files ! Yet another reason for
separating the preview stuff (existing files only, and actually previewing :) ),
with the extension stuff.

BTW koffice-1.1-final will require kdelibs-2.2 (which will be out by then).
(Otherwise people can't see that they can import MSWord files, since they were
only recognized by content in 2.1.x but kfiledialog didn't support that...)
So anything we do now can be used in koffice-1.1. We just have to wait before
making it unconditional (for now 2.1 support should be kept).
