Log Message:
use a smart pointer for the document in all *Impl classes. 
Fixes the about page crash, and hopefully a lot of other places, where
the document could have been accessed after it actually got deleted.

I hope I haven't overlooked any places where one would need to check for 
a NULL pointer, but if yes, you'll find out ;-)
