Log Message:
Added volume as attribute to the soundserver. This allows
 * artsshell to change the output volume
 * reusing the same StereoVolumeControl for different artscontrols
 * ensuring that the volume control effect is always the last in the
   effect processing chain (which wouldn't be ensurable if you insert the
   effect manually)

Support in artsshell is there - patching artscontrol should be done next.
