I agree that the current module is way too compicated, especially since the
addition of "Blending".

Do you mean a QTabWidget in the middle of the control module? Wouldn't
this be ugly? This would also bring the "blending" and "cache size" in front
all the time, which I think are less important than the "Background" tab,
which is not always visible?

What about a tab selector on top of the panel, with the 2 upper squares 
(name selector and preview) always visible? The tab then selects the bottom
control area. These bottom controls could be partititioned in several ways:

1) Wallpaper, background, blending and advanced seperately each. The
disadvantage is that wallpaper and background fit so nicely in a square,
which would now become a 2x1 rectangle.

2) Wallpaper and background on one tab, versus blending and advanced on the
other. 

3) ??

I thnk I'd prefer 2. What do you think?
