- we use takeItem() when removing items from the iconview. according to the
  qt documentation this method does not delete the item itself. therefore
  we have a memory leak when deleting files ;-)
  fixed now :-)

  BTW, reggie, is there a way to remove an item out of an iconview without
  the iconview repainting itself completely? I really liked that old feature
  where deleting files just made the icons disappear magically, without
  redrawing everything :)
