Thats what has been done! But it was named 1.1.2 because of the changed
situation and new recommendations from kde-pr in the end. Sometimes one has to
make fast decitions.

Yes, there were good arguments pro 1.2 but in the end there were better
arguments pro 1.1.2. As I already mentioned the situation changed.

Yes, I agree 1.1.2 is not a bugfix only release but it isn't a minor
release, too. It's somewhere in between and in the release dude's opinion
closer to a bugfix release. Amen.
