Ah ok I understand. It's not a problem with apps with BIG windows, such as office \
apps. It was a problem with small windows, like for instance aktion, which could open \
a big  kfiledialog window mostly out of the screen !

It's hard to get a standard on this. For some apps it's ok to have a parent to the \
dialog box and for others it's not.
