So far the zeroconf:/ kio-slave had been restricted to list only filesystem-
like services by Jakub, as that integrated ideally with the filesystem-centric 
idea of Konqueror/Dolphin. Not sure also listing plasma remote widget now 
really fits here.

But than is the protocol name "zeroconf" quite misleading, one would expect to 
see all detected zeroconf services listed by it, not just the filesystem-like 
ones. Which is why I started with the network:/ kio-slave (which btw already 
lists plasma remote widgets, but in a device-centric way, not service-
centric), though I also tried to hide the technical detail of the actual 
service discovery technology there and merge DNSSD, UPnP (and SLP, but that 
seems dead).

We really one day should see to make the mess of the half-working remote:/, 
network:/ and zeroconf:/ kioslaves an end, add to this the places and 
bookmarks stuff and else.

Will you be at Akademy/Desktop Summit in Berlin? We ought to do a session on 
this!
