Yep, makes sense.

However there are more protocols than trash:/, which are "local files \
viewed differenty", and in fact there's a generic way of testing for this: \
KProtocolInfo::protocolClass.

This would become:

if (itemUrl.isLocalFile() || \
KProtocolInfo::protocolClass(itemUrl.protocol()) == ":local")
