Because I have Qt3Support and it still doesn't work :) It could be that this is just a Qt/Cocoa problem as the Qt3Support module isn't complete here (and never will be). I could disable them if using Qt/Cocoa if this is preferable? I just assumed that as Windows was disabled it wouldn't be an awful thing to disable this on Mac either, as Qt/Carbon isn't supported on the latest OSX with the default compiler settings and sounds like it will be deprecated in 4.7.
