I made the decision to stay in viewbox coordinates as long as possible, i.e. 
for the complete evaluation of the enhanced path commands. And only after the 
path is generated I scale/mirror/move the generated path data to the right 
size/position. That way it prooved to be more robust against size changes of 
the generated path data as well as size changes of the shape itself.
