I think you need to remember that the reason we have the feature freeze is:

* To give the documentation team a chance to document the new features,
  and the translators a chance to translate the documentation.

* To focus on fixing bugs and stabilizing trunk, and not introduce new bugs
  by pushing new and untested code into SVN.

This isn't something that needs to be documented, it doesn't add new code,
and it fixes a bug. So therefore it isn't a problem.
