Many reasons. Originally we had ported over 12months ago to /trunk/, then a
few hands got involved that had refactored and changed functionality of the
code for SuperKaramba. To the point where current themes will not work and
can never work. Those hands that did the functionality changes are no longer
involved and many bugs have been fixed in 3.5.x branch that were never
integrated into trunk b/c it was modified so heavily. The intention now is
to take the working 3.5.x branch code make it runnable in a kde4 environment
as plasma will have it's own desktop widget type applets of its own format.

Hope this makes sense? It will be a pain for a short while as we'll be
porting from 3.5.x branch and incorporated all the system changes from
the /trunk/ codebase that were system wide changes.
