SVN commit 579846 by amantia:

Fix a long-standing bug that I could finally somewhat reproduce, which caused growing \
of quantarc until it was too large to handle, caused by the automatic backup system. \
Fix also other bugs in the auto-backup. Change symlink handling, so paths are \
resolved after reading from config files. Hopefully it doesn't introduce new bugs.
