Maintain the site? I (perhaps wrongly) supposed that the site is already 
finished. So the unique changes would be at content level.

The only changes i have seen i previous aKademy sites were only at 
content level (adding conferences, changing dates...) so i supposed that 
the site was already finiched. Was not it?

Ah! i supposed that akademy team only maintain the content, not the 
structure.

I just implemented the mockup that Nuno sent at kde-www-devel mailing 
list. I already argued that it would be very difficult (and perhaps 
imposible) to implement with our current XHTML scheme.

First i implemented all as i can with our current XHTML framework (that 
was the previous version of the site you have seen before i had to 
revert the changes). Nuno argued that it was a bit boring and i decided 
to implement the Drupal theme he created.

I am agree, but you told me that you would like to set up the site ASAP. 
So i am applied for a quick (and dirty :-() solution.

I can easily create a script with sed and awk to set the header and the 
footer into include files. Also it is not difficult to implement our 
menu. But if the site is already finished and the structure will not 
change, i do not understand why you need this.

I prefer add useful content, cool graphics and the likes (things like 
previous akademy sites lacks almost completely) than working on this. 
But if you insist...
