I'm no KCanvas developer and don't know what have been agreed, but my 
immediate reaction is that kdelibs in trunk is still quite unstable, and that 
one should port against the latest snapshot instead.

In other words, I think it is more productive to port to the snapshotm, since 
I think one otherwise will have a lot of build breakage.

Well, someone with more experience of trunk -- correct me if I'm wrong.
