OK. Confirms my conclusion then. Hadn't followed this discussion because I
wasn't affected back then ;)

Looking closer at WebCore I saw that the (Windows) key code related code
is #ifdef'ed for Apple only btw. A solution working for KDE is lacking
there, too.
