cancelledText() is used in KLineEdit::setCompletedItems() which can be called 
by the lineedit itself or the application. So it seems setCancelledText() 
should be called irrespectively of the value of handleSignals()

If I readd "if ( handleSingals() )" it breaks completion in Konqueror
