The default size of the columns is determined in \
KonqBaseListViewWidget::readProtocolConfig and that one adds "--" already when \
computing the size. After that it's saved into konquerorrc and reused from there.
I don't see the point in adding a trailing space to the item text, which will give \
you "..." truncation too early.
