 I seem to remember such few periods of time, but then my memory may be 
failing me for something happening so long ago. The core of Klipper dealing 
with the clipboard contents could certainly use a rewrite, and QClipboard 
could also use a couple of patches still most probably hanging in the 
qt-bugs@ queue :(.
