Patch by Tom Gilligan, thank you!
- Interface for changing options that didn't have an interfacae before (such
  as Custom mouseover color)
- New option for Mac-like triangular tree view expanders
- New option for turning off focus rectangles
- New option to turn off toolbar item separators

The patch was modified by me in the following way:
- use text() color for expander icons (necessary for better contrast in dark
  color shemes etc.)
- removed configuration dialog entries for the scrollbar lines and focus rect
  options as I don't think many users will need them
- left out splitter and menu checkmark modifications for now - I somehow prefer
  the current look
