Okay. Good argument. Somehow.

Beeeep. Sorry, can't follow you. What about competition? I would be rather 
afraid if all OSes would be the same.
Bad argument IMHO. (Especially as I think that KDE and others are still miles 
away from a something really usable where one can use and not serve the 
system.)

My only problem is that I am not a taker of "one size fits all". I would vote 
for another kpersonalizer page which tries to offer setups for certain user 
types (home, office,  power user,...)

I feel those who oppose against one or two more decisions in KPersonalizer are 
blinded by some marketing gags like "One click and you are done.". I think we 
should rather stress our strength: "Fit to your needings." This is one or two 
decisions in a lifetime (of that installation), after all. And hopefully 
saves time, still. 

We should look for someone who needs a topic for his thesis at university who 
than should collect typical desktop setups and tell us what we really should 
offer (instead of wild guesses). Out of my possibilities, sadly.
