And imagine how creative they'll be if they ever get a chance to meet you
personally ;). You cannot just shoot down whole KDE session without asking,
especially if the same shortcut has a different meaning in Windows as the
bugreport says.

The definitions in kdesktopbindings.cpp etc. could be dropped. The keys
module writes the settings to kdeglobals during KDE startup (see
kcontrol/keys/main.cpp at the bottom), so at most it should be changed to
read them from the .kksrc files.
